California Paraoptometric Section

CPS is always in search of interested volunteers who would be willing to contribute their time and their expertise to the continued development of this Section. CPS has a variety of areas to become involved in as members are encouraged to expand their personal and professional enrichment and volunteer in one of the following ways:

Writing CPS Resource Library Book Reviews
(Articles may be published in California Optometry Magazine.)
Participating in CPS Membership Recruitment Efforts
Serving as a California Paraoptometric Section Board Member
To be considered for a board position on the California Paraoptometric Section, the candidate should:
- Be a California Paraoptometric Section member in good standing
- Currently employed as a paraoptometric (optometric assistant, technician, staff member or optician)
- Submit a résumé or curriculum vitae (CV), with a letter of intent stating reason why you are applying for a board position and what you feel you can contribute
